Three-dimensional pest prevention and control technology:
Establish a three-dimensional and multi-angled tobacco pest control technology system pest based on tobacco disease and pest prediction.
Make full use of natural factors in the control of pests and diseases, and effectively reduce pesticide use and promote green tobacco production.
2. Reduce the use of chemical fertilizers
The Effects of Organic Fertilizers Partly Replacing Chemical Fertilizers on Biochemical Characteristics of Soil and Quality of Flue-cured Tobacco
In order to screen suitable organic fertilizer species and improve the quality of flue-cured tobacco, in this study was used in a field experiment to investigate the effects of different organic fertilizers on biochemical characteristics of flue-cured tobacco planting soil and yield. Four kinds of organic fertilizers (high-carbon base fertilizer, fried sesame, bio-organic fertilizer and decomposed sesame seed cake fertilizer) were applied in combination with a tobacco-specific compound fertilizer separately during different growth periods. The results showed that application of organic fertilizers could increase the content of organic matter, soil microbial functional diversity and soil enzyme activities in the soil. The increase was higher from the treatment with high-carbon base fertilizers at early stages compared with the other treatments while at middle and late stages the treatment of fried sesame had the most significant effect. The quality of flue-cured tobacco was most significantly improved when applied with sesame seeds. The combined application of high-carbon base fertilizers could greatly promote yield and output values of flue-cured tobacco. Overall, it is more suitable to use high-carbon base fertilizers and fried sesame to partially replace chemical fertilizers in most tobacco areas.
3. Reduce the use of fossil fuels
Characteristic of Bio-coal Briquette and Its Application in Flue-curing Tobacco
Tobacco flue-curing energy is an important influence factor on the cost of flue-curing, energy-saving and emission-reduction. Bio-coal Briquette is a new alternative fuel. We discussed its processing technology, combustion mechanism and combustion character in this paper, analyzed its influence factor on coal quality, quantity of biomass, adhesives and briquetting pressure, and investigated the prospect of bio-coal briquette in tobacco flue-curing.
Tobacco Straw Gasification as an alternative to Coal in Tobacco Curing
The effect of tobacco straw, disposable stalk and dust applied in tobacco curing by straw gasification was studied. The preliminary results showed that the temperature control performance and tobacco quality of the flue-curing barn with tobacco straw gasification technology were superior to the traditional coal flue-curing barn, and the curing cost decreased tremendously. Applying the straw gasification technology to cure tobacco can save coal energy and is beneficial to the development of the ecological tobacco agriculture.
